紫陽花は万葉集にも詠まれた日本固有の花です。開花期間が長く、小さな花が身を寄せ合って咲く姿から、辛抱強い愛情や家族団欒という意味を持っています。このお箸は、そんな紫陽花をリズミカルに文様化しました。
色は黒・朱・溜（ため）の3色です。

＊沈金とは、塗面をノミで彫り込み、そこに金を埋め込んで文様をあらわす技法です。失敗の許されない熟練の技の結晶です。

The hydrangea is a flower native to Japan, mentioned in the Manyoshu. The long blooming period and the appearance of small flowers huddled together give it a meaning of patient love and family reunion. These chopsticks are decorated with a rhythmical pattern of hydrangea.
It is available in three colors: black, vermilion and tame(Translucent lacquer on red).

"Chinkin" is a technique of engraving a lacquered surface and expressing a pattern by embedding gold into it. "Chinkin" is a crystallization of skilled craftsmanship that does not allow for mistakes.
