蝶は「長」と同じ読みから「長命」の意味がある文様です。さなぎから美しい蝶になることから、立身出世の願いも込められています。
色は黒・朱・溜（ため）の3色です。
※沈金箸は在庫限りとなっており、完売次第終了となります。
＊沈金とは、塗面をノミで彫り込み、そこに金を埋め込んで文様をあらわす技法です。失敗の許されない熟練の技の結晶です。

The butterfly is a pattern with the meaning of long life in Japan. It is also associated with a wish for success in life, as the butterfly grows from a chrysalis into a beautiful butterfly.
It is available in three colors: black, vermilion and tame(Translucent lacquer on red).
"Chinkin" is a technique of engraving a lacquered surface and expressing a pattern by embedding gold into it. "Chinkin" is a crystallization of skilled craftsmanship that does not allow for mistakes.
