039-丸盆 8.5寸 溜塗 唐草沈黒
シンプルな丸盆は昔から数多く作られてきている漆器のひとつです。
こちらの丸盆は溜の塗り立てで仕上げ、全面に唐草文様を彫り込みました。「沈金」の場合はここに金を入れて華やかに仕上げますが、この「沈黒」では背景に溶け込むように黒漆を埋め込みます。光の角度によって文様がくっきりと浮かび上がる、重厚で渋みのある仕上げとなっております。

Simple round trays are one of the many types of lacquerware that have been produced for centuries. This round tray is carved with an arabesque pattern on the entire surface. In the case of "Chinkin", gold is added here for a glamorous finish, but in this "Chinkoku", black lacquer is embedded to blend in with the background. The design clearly emerges depending on the angle of the light, creating a stately and austere finish.
