015-合鹿椀 祀る
「合鹿椀（ごうろくわん）」は奥能登の合鹿地区で遅くとも17世紀には作られていた椀で、大型で高台の高い堂々とした姿が特徴です。
この椀はカンナ目を残して挽いたケヤキの質感を活かし、上縁と糸輪には布を着せて頑丈に仕上げています。木と漆という恵みをもたらしてくれる森の精霊への感謝を込めて、「祀る」と名付けました。

"Goroku-Wan" were made in the 17th century at the latest in Okunoto, and are characterised by their large size and high base, imposing appearance. This bowl make the most of the texture of zelkova wood, which is ground to leave the grain of the chisel, and the top and bottom are covered with cloth for a sturdy finish. The bowl is named "Matsuru", which means "worship", in gratitude to the spirits of the forest which bring us the bounty of wood and lacquer.
