042-ぐい吞 筒型 ヘラ目塗 内銀地桜蒔絵
いつもの滑らかな肌の輪島塗とは一味違う仕上げのぐい呑です。
内側は刷毛目を残した塗りの上に銀粉を蒔いて研ぎ出し、渦を巻く水流を表しています。
外も同じようにヘラの跡を残し、普段は下地塗に使う「地の粉」の質感をそのまま生かして仕上げました。
こちらは縁に桜を描いた春の酒器。他に、同じ仕上げで紅葉を描いた秋の酒器もございます。

This goup is finished differently from the usual smooth-skinned Wajima-nuri.
The inside of the cup has been polished by sprinkling silver powder on top of the brushstrokes left on the surface of the lacquered surface to represent swirling water currents.
The outside is finished in the same way, leaving spatula marks and the texture of "jinoko" (ground powder), which is usually used for the base coating, is preserved.
This is a spring sake cup with cherry blossoms on the rim. There is also an autumn sake cup with autumn leaves painted in the same finish.
