Simple round trays are one of the many types of lacquerware that have been produced for centuries.
This round tray is finished with a fresh coat of black and vermilion lacquer, and features an arabesque pattern carved across its entire surface. In the “chinkin” technique, gold would be inlaid here to create a dazzling finish, but in this “chinkuro” technique, black lacquer is inlaid instead.
The result is a rich and elegant finish that makes the arabesque pattern stand out clearly.
【Size】φ288
【Material】Natural Wood, Urushi (Natural Lacquer)
＊Price is for one piece.
＊Please refrain from using microwave ovens, dishwashers and dryers.
＊The box is usually a paper box containing one piece.
＊The colours in the images may differ slightly from the actual product. (Due to the environment at the time of shooting, there may be reflections from lighting, etc.)
＊Please read the following “Notes on Purchase" when ordering.
