鈴の歴史は古く、神を呼ぶための儀式に用いる神聖な楽器として使われてきました。現在でも神社やお祭りで鈴はよく見かけますね。邪気や悪いものから身を守るという意味も持つ鈴を、蒔絵で描いています。
色は黒・朱・溜（ため）の3色です。

＊蒔絵とは漆で文様を描き、金粉や銀粉を蒔いて磨き上げる日本独自の加飾方法です。上質な漆と金銀の輝きは食卓の小さな芸術です。

Bells have a long history and were sacred instruments used in ceremonies to call the gods. Even today, bells are often seen at shrines and festivals. Bells also have the meaning of protecting people from evil spirits and bad things.
It is available in three colors: black, vermilion and tame(Translucent lacquer on red).

"Maki-e" is a unique Japanese decoration method in which patterns are drawn in lacquer, sprinkled with gold or silver powder, and polished. The luster of fine lacquer and gold or silver powder is a small art for the dining table.
