Beautiful and slightly larger in shape, this bowl is just right for eating ochazuke. The top rim of the bowl is slightly warped, giving it a very natural shape to the mouth. It can be used for a variety of purposes such as rice bowls and noodles, in addition to ochazuke.
The wooden base of the bowl is made of "hinoki" (Japanese cypress), a hard and heavy material usually used for zelkova or cherry wood, and is much lighter than it looks. We hope you can feel the lightness of Wajima-nuri when you actually hold it in your hand.
The grain of the wood will appear due to the characteristics of the product, but there is no problem with the quality.
【Size】φ138＊h80
【Material】Natural Wood, Urushi (Natural Lacquer)
＊Price is for one piece.
＊Please refrain from using microwave ovens, dishwashers and dryers.
＊The box is usually a paper box containing one piece.
＊The colours in the images may differ slightly from the actual product. (Due to the environment at the time of shooting, there may be reflections from lighting, etc.)
＊Please read the following “Notes on Purchase" when ordering.
