細身のシルエットに高台のついた、上品なカップです。
小ぶりで持ちやすく、薄手に仕上げた端反の飲み口が優しく口に触れます。
喜び楽しむ、仲が良くなる、という意味の「歓」という字を「乾杯」と掛けて、「歓杯カップ」と名付けました。
そんな歓杯カップのおもて面のみに、金と銀を使った蒔絵で雪の結晶を描きました。雪降る冬、クリスマスにはもちろん、夏の暑い日に使っても、雪の結晶が涼しげで良いかもしれません。

This elegant cup has a slender silhouette with base.
It is small and easy to hold, and the thinly finished edge of the cup gently touches the mouth.
This one is lacquered in "Tame (Translucent Lacquer on red)".
The surface of the cup is decorated with snowflakes in gold and silver maki-e. The snowflakes may be good for snowy winters and Christmas, of course, but also for use on hot summer days to keep you cool.
