カップの側面には可愛い双子のパンダがたわむれています。まるい背中、のんびり、やさしい表情。見ているだけで笑みがこぼれる愛らしい姿を、若い蒔絵職人が丁寧に描きました。

This is our long-selling Wajima-nuri lacquer cup. Its stable, flared shape fits comfortably in your hand. Although it’s called an “Ice Cup,” it’s of course suitable for hot beverages as well.
On the side of the cup, a pair of adorable twin pandas are playfully frolicking. With their round backs, laid-back demeanor, and gentle expressions, these charming figures—which bring a smile to your face just by looking at them—were carefully painted by a young maki-e artisan.
